After completing an unprecedented journey around South America in a small engine motorcycle, biker André Sousa prepares to achieve another record and has challenged Loba for the branding of this latest adventure.

André Sousa will begin is new adventure in 2020, on an attempt to go around the world in a Honda Monkey mini motorcycle. He will tackle 6 continents and more than 50 countries in over 2 years on the road. The aim is to achieve another outstanding record.

His wondrous adventurous spirit was born in 2016 when the Oliveira de Azeméis native embarked on a student exchange program in Slovakia. During that stint, he had the chance to travel across 9 different countries in the Balkans region. In that process, he recognized a great pleasure and interest in understanding people’s local routines, well beyond the enjoyment of the natural beauty as a regular tourist. It was that contact with people and the different habits and cultures that seemed to have sparked a curiosity inside him. He toured around the Balcan by hitchhiking and used the “couchsurf” community to find places to stay, instead of conventional hotels and tourist accommodation. This way he was able to conclude this trip in one month practically without expense.

In 2018 he took part in another student exchange program, this time in Brazil, where he set out to achieve a world record of crossing all South America countries with land borders (11 countries) on a 125cc engine motorcycle.
