The first day was a complicated start, at this time was a national strike in Brazil, as soon as I pulled from Florianópolis I realized that this strike really blocked the country completely! There was no fuel anywhere, certain foods were running low, I went to the grocery store and was only possible to carry 5 products per person, and many roads cut with burning tire blocks and riots. Luckily I was able to do much of it on the first day, until the end of the night and on the morning of the day 2 miraculously found a gas station that got 3000 liters, no one believed that there were stations with fuel! I was in a line for an hour and there I got the gasoline I needed to make the last kilometers to the Iguazu Falls on the Brazilian side, where I arrived mid-afternoon. Next destination is Paraguay because we had already visited the falls before this trip, so it was just a quick visit to remember!
The first 1000km were done, full of unforeseen events!
