After passing the Andes on Monday, the bike was not in the best condition and could not take the idle. I went to the main motorcycle dealer in Santiago, they turned on the scanner and said that I had problems with the acceleration body, the electronic injection, and that there was no solution, I had to wait for the piece for a month, since it came from Brazil! Soon after, I took the bike to another mechanic, who called me the next day to inform me that the bike was already better! He cleaned the entire injection system, changed the fuel, filters, tuned valves and revised everything, he was not 100% but he was disconnected less often, at least he could go on!
I visited the center of the Chilean capital, and decided to go and test the bike! I returned to the Andes and went to visit El Yeso, which is 2500m above sea level. Then, I wanted to go visit the thermal hill, also in the Andes, but when I’m 5km away, I see a jeep stuck and that there is no road there, because there was more than 50cm of snow covering everything, the boy in the jeep was over an hour there, but no one passed there, it was all snowy, basically only the demon was the one who had the race to get there and didn’t get bogged down! I had to go back to the main road and managed to find another jeep to help, and I did my good deed for the day!
Many thanks to my friend Patricio, also a biker, who received me at home all these days in Santiago, through Couchsurfing! In addition, he made a point of accompanying me for part of the trip in the mountains!
